engine set up?
Rite guys most of you are phantom owners! how much offset should give my engine and how much jack? ive got a manual jack plate so i can muck around with it but i want a good basic setting for the first run! oh and wot prop is a good one to go for as ive gota buy one? ive got a phantom 21 tandem deck running an xr2!

engine slap bank in middle (everything else mounted back right ie trim pump battery etc)
start with prop shaft around 3" below transom until you get used to it but make sure you can jack up to at least level for calm days
remember the higher the engine the worse the hole shot will be
try a laser as they seem to be a good all round prop and the most forgiving

Better drive with it mounted in the centre anyways if you offset all the other weight and have hydraulic steering you wouldn't notice anyways

i think from memory the revolution had about 2",i remember thinking it was alot,but the boat went well with that set up
