fletcher 19 gts

Hi all , im bidding on a fletcher 19 gts on ebay, looks clean, the owner states that it is leaking power steering fluid, poss from the pump, its a 3.0 mercruiser, ive never gone down the in -board route before, is this an expensive fix, can anyone on here do if I buy it, whats the worst case scenario, price, the boat is based in poole maybe somebody knows it, cheers reece

If its leaking PS fluid, then its going to be pump (likely to be generic sagnaw type that all GM/Mercruisers use), lines (any hydraulic shop can rectify and perhaps a cooler (not actually sure if the 3.0L have them, but they are about £50-£100 on ebay and about 10 mins to fit!
