Force 150

Does anyone know of an old Force 150? (okay I know they were rubbish engines!)

We are restoring a Shakespeare Swallow 550 back to showroom condition when she was sold in 1988 in Kirkcaldy

She has an Evenrude 90 at the moment but would love to get her back totally original

Picture was 1991....

And now as she is today....

Would a good level of compromise be to have a Force 120 not 150 (so 4cyl not 5cyl). I believe the very late ones (97/98) were all mercury electronics, midsecton, trim, gearboxes, with the old force cowlings and chrysler powerheads.

I think "american marine" might be able to help
