If Princes is Just before the humpty back bridge on the right. It would be tight on size for a full build up. Ran the 3B cat & the & the P21 there it would just about top out then you had to roll off the throttle pretty quick. couldnt use all the lake coz of the ski set up. Russell powerboats used to be located there before they moved he would know more about it than anyone.

Alternatley go for an early or late launch at Walton & run up the Desborough Cut. Not that JF & I have ever done that sort of thing coz we are clean living good law abiding individuals

Could always launch at puntney @ low water. Did you know the Oxford & cambridge boat race has big sod off mile markers in stone on the southern bank all the way to Kew. Never done that either

And test the props at 5mph?

Then learn from the tests and race back to London to change the props in a few days and then attempt the record?

If it's the 1 i'm thinking of they used to race pretty much every thing from the inshore lot but I think most of it has been filled in and built on.

The one at Iver was the home of the LMBRC. as stated it's been filled in quite a bit now and a fraction of it's former size. Used to be a great place to nip out too on a Sunday from Central London and watch some racing. Geez!!!!! watching a very young Andy Elliot racing round in kidddie class.
