Fuel Level Sender

Hi there,

Does anyone know of a UK manufacturer or supplier of the Capacitor type ‘Tube in tube’ Fuel Lever Sender?

Cheers

Steve

The Gaffrig type is supposedly available from Merlin Electrical in Poole, but I've now gone over to Wema, also in Poole. Just ordered one today, what length you after?

Thanks for the help guys…..Much appreciated.

T.D.

Length of sensor tube (to avoid any confusion…dimension from
underside of mounting flange to tube end) to be 232mm.
Any idea of price?

Baj666

Thanks, but a touch tooooo long for the P25’s tank.

Techteam

Nice piece of kit.….they do look expensive.
I'll giv’em a call.

Thanks again

Cheers

Steve

Tony.
That's sounds perfic!
Have you any idea of costs?
No.....Not desperate for the sender itself, buuuuut could do with the sender mounting details for the new Fuel Tank drawing.
If you know them, that would be a great help.

Thanks again.

Steve

Hey Mutz

My mate still recounts the story of how your daughter managed to keep her phone above water when she took her stroll in the camber on the day the RB started.

Hope she didn't suffer any ill effects.

Nasher.

Oh yeah!!
When Ross and I had the boat strapped to trailer and the truck, on the slipway, setting up the timing at 7000rpm and under load........ Rooster!!!!
Scarey stuff!!

No ill effects, she just thought it was as funny hell.
Back a bit, back a bit…..splashhh!
I don’t think she could quite believe her luck either.

I put it down to girls having some additional buoyancy aids us guys don’t have the benefit of……. right!

The Camber certainly rang with good music that morning

I must be out of shot in that picture by about two feet.

It turned into a busy day for us, I was support boat for Pindar the Ocean 70 yacht which had been chartered for some Cummins corporate entertainment for the day.
I ended up towing her out of gunwharf when the engine wouldn't select gear, and then right in the middle of the Solent the pulley block in the top of the mast exploded.
