Fuel pump

Hi,
I`m going to install a fuel pump , an extra on my 90 hp yamaha, I`ve bought one that deilivers 70 Liters an hour. My questions are: Can the extra fuel pump damage the engine because of to much fuel ? etc......

i think you need a fuel return if you use an electric fuel pump. or get a very low pressure one.

Could u explain more about the fuel return system? How to build one? pictures? etc.
I need to figure it out for the races this weekend....help!!

Find out what fuel Px the engine can accept first.
A normal solution would be a Pump, Px regulator, With a retun to the Main or catch tank.
I quite like the Facet pumps dead dinky & light some good outputs as well

as blufin said you need to find out what pressure you need.
the merc's with carbs can run an electric pump without a fuel return but its low pressure
