fuel starvation
been a problem for the whole of the season now, when skiing shes fine, but any thing over 50, for more than about 3 minuites, she starts to develop a fuel starvation proble,. pumping the primer bulb helps, but the problem doesnt stop. been told it might have something to do with a breather in the tank, if so what do i do. ps have changed the fuel, water seperator and taken the quick connector off from the cowl. thanks

Could be a piece of shite in the tank. I had the same problem, drained the tank, removed it, then filled it with sugar soap & hot water. Left it to soak untill cool enough to shake about, drained it through the filler spout, (shaking all the time) ,,,,, out popped a jelly bean sized lump of black silicon mastic !!!!

Breather problems could be partially blocked, make sure there aren't any low dips in it which could have crap sitting in them. Pump?
We had a similar problem but wouldn't get on the plane, let alone to 50, changed everything, eventually found the tank had loads of black silicone mastic in it (a previous owner had filled the bolt holes in the inspection plate with it then it had dropped through as it was tightened) improved but wasn't completely solved until we changed the pump cos the diaphragm was shot.
Run along the whole fuel system from breather to carbs checking everything...

Good point, check the diaphram also, it's only a thin membrane AND it does alot of work !!!!

next time you go out remove the filler cap. this will eliminate the breather and tell you weather thats the fault

I had some fuel supply problems - turned out to be the fuel pipe going into the outboard - pull it out an inch or 2 and it was fine - but then when I tilt the engine up the pipe gets kinked inside the cowl again. Haven't sorted it yet - just give the pipe a pull when I use the primer bulb - it's fine then!!!
