Gearbox Rebuild

Has anyone had their gearbox rebuilt? Looking to reduce a bit of drag from it, get it shimmed well, is this worthwhile? Who in the uk does it?

Cheers

Can you raise the engine a bit? Might save you a few bob!

I can but I need to run the engine low to get grip in the surf, I've heard there maybe decent gains from shimming the gearbox, apparently you can spin the propshaft with your finger and thumb
