Off, that way your concentrating on driving as fast as possible, not thinking about how cool your going to look when you upload another video.

I find the full HD setting a bit flakey. so...

1280x720 (setting r2) if you want widescreen, or 1280x960 (setting r4) if you want std 4:3 image.

Setting r3 is the same resolution as r2 (1280x720 widescreen) but twice the frame rate (60 instead of the std 30) which is nice if you want to play back in slow motion, but uses up your sd card space at twice the rate (and chews batteries a bit quicker)

Plus, the full HD takes forever to convert if your putting it into windows movie or similar.
I also put it on auto record, starts recording as soon as its turned on, no pricking around checking its recording, then finding out after it didnt!

hd go pro

I find r2 at 720 best, still offers exceptional resolution and good picture quality.
I get about 160mins video time with a fully charged battery ,using a kingston
16gig class 4 card.
The following links were shot at r2 720,depending on your connection speed and video editor software it can be slow.

Do a search on u tube for :
Nigel take takes his first bath
Phantom 21 XR2 prop testing Howth
