Help with a bow up happy boat

Gentlemen can you hep please.
I run a old Fletcher Arrowflyte with a Yam 60 2 stroke outboard and it planes and performs absolutly perfectly in most sea conditions except them when it is best to stay at home, so a little chop is ok. A friend of mine has a Fletcher Arrowstreak GTS with a Mercrusier 3ltr 4cyl 130ish hp inboard, which i am considering buying, but its a bit of a handfull when on the sea. It appears to run with the bow up all the time and i think the expression is Porpoising and no amount of trim will get it down, and it never planes like mine does, I have checked that the trim reaches the stops when trimmed in or bow down position.
It has a LazerII stainless prop which i think is a 19 pitch but i could not see the diameter without me specs. Cant get full prop spec for a couple of weeks but can we speak generally
What I would like to know is what size and pitch of prop would be best suited for general coastal crusing with reasonable speed and fuel economy etc and what is best for Sking and toys etc

Wheres the fuel tank dude? sounds like too much weight too far back to me rather than the prop

Fuel tank is in the bow and not a lot of wieght in the back only engine

Or, some water trapped in the hull somewhere ...aft.

is the motor/boat model a common configuration?, or has someone fitted it themselves.

Bilge is empty as i did it myself and configeration is as out of factory gates with exception of prop, and not sure of original spec.

Hmm.. never heard about exagerated porpoising on a
Arrowstreak GTS with 130 HP
( I presume it is the Arrowstreak 160 GTS )
Could it be that the boat is not getting properly onto plane ?
If so, you could try a propeller with a lower pitch to see if it helps.

Allthough a lot of the members here are far more skilled in

could try a cleaver prop which is more stern lifting.

Probably not, but it might have a rocker in the hull, have you checked to make sure the hull is straight?

i also had the pleasure of a 15ft Fletcher with a Mercruiser 3.0L and an Alpha 1
Trimming was always a mission...
