how embarrasing

well im ashamed to say,its been so long since i last went out on my boat ive forgotten the oil ratio,anyone care to remind me please.ive got 30;1 in my head from somewhere but not sure.

ha bloody ha !! maybe it was 50;1,if i remember right a litre bottle of merc 2 stroke to 50 litres,that makes it 50;1 right?

yep 50:1 is 1ltr of oil to 50ltr of fuel. I always ran mine about 45:1 just to be a little on the safe side. Always a worry getting it right.

V6 merc's are 40:1 if reving below 7500 or 32:1 if reving above 7500
