Johnson GT 150 v6

Picked a boat up today with one of these on today
Struggled to start however had good spark and even comps (100psi) across all your bores. This was before it started an hadn't been in a while so may have increased
Now, do I run for the hills and turn this engine around sharpish or could it be ok to run on my P18 the engine really doesn't own me much I only bought the boat for the ski pole, tank and trailer!

I had one for a while, nice engine, reasonably reliable, even the VRO bit.

But - it nearly bankrupt me with it's thirst for unleaded.
