Thanks all for your help,
After the third silent block destruction on this engine, time to find a solution.
After a discussion with race marine (thanks to them) they told me they made Solid mount times ago, but now they use silent bloc from the 300 evinrude XXL, As another HO noted on a former post the HO solid mount are built with gaps , so more motion on the power head in hard use, the 300XXL model as no gap, see picture. And see the result after less than one year of use with 250HO original model.
the boat is a revenger 27steps light weight, and yes sometimes its a real punishment for the boat and engine.
But even with original solid mount , we lead to cracks on exhaust plate, the mid section on this engine is pretty weak vs power and torque available...
On the pictures the used ones are 250 Ho original, the new model is the 300XXL model, wich is also the same used on the former 300V8 years ago.
The crack on the exhaust plate was repaired with a aluminum specialist welder, not so easy to do.
Pretty sure the next destruction will be the exhaust plates....
Mike Hunt: I follow the story of this orange cyclone Invader with attention for years now, Tim mayers wrote me, the torque in the 250 HO GEN 2 is far higher than the 300xs and walks away from them in the corners
Cyclone invader boat are really good in rough conditions for a boat of this size. and fast too not the top speed on this video, the top is higher .
