personal preference, i like a good quality plywood soaked in resin and if glassed in properly, will not rot, i have seen a couple of boats with divinycell, one of them a b28, and from observation of the fatigue on the outside of transom i wouldnt use it......

just my opinion of course.

Ok, just wondering...

Probably have to have alot to do with how it is glassed in or the grade of the Divinycell,because I know of boats that has Divinycell-transoms ad they don`t suffer from this..

I also PM`d you earlyer today about something..

Roy Smith had a 2 litre batboat with a divinicell transom - lasted 'till half way through the first or second race - not sure!

We never use anything other than wood in the central part of the transom, although we have used foam outside the knees.
