merc 90 low water pick up

hiall, can anyone tell me the best/easyest way to adapt a standered merc 90 gearbox with a standered pick up to a low water one

Use a transom pickup and drill and tap a fitting into the box below the impeller

Nosecone !! But you should'nt really need it !! Are you going to be ready for Torquay ??

not with engine right height, someone put it on for him bout 6inch 2 low, setoff bracket was inch below tunnel , wouldnt even get on the plain, should be gd nowtho, jus bit worried bout water pressure

I don't think a transom mounted pickup will be legal for that - would need a nosecone if you need more water pressure!

Follow the link at the top of the page to Bobs Machine Shop. Good quality Nose Cones perhaps a little large but they fit a 90 yam ok.
