the seriel plate on mine says "max 6500 rpm". The huy i bought it from reckons you can run a standard 225PM at 7000 all day long.........but NOT so much as 1rpm over.

so there you go!

I dont wanna kill it! lol
Im running a 23p prop on a 150hp engine at the moment (Merc Black Max) and hitting the rev limit at 5500rpm spot on. So do you think I could get away with running a 26p/27p prop on a 225hp promax?

Rob.

Hmmm, don't know how 'standard' that would be as the rev limiter on a stock/standard 225PM is (or at least was) set at 6,750 rpm.
