I have a test report comparing an E-tec 225 HO with a Verado 250 on a Triton 21ft bassboat.
The E-tec 225HO (about 240hp) uses 83 liters/hour at full throttle, the Verado 250hp uses 103 liters/hour at full throttle. I guess the Verado 275 would use 10% more than the 250, so about 113 liters/hour.

Verado vs E-Tec

Go for the E-Tec.

You won't regret it.
