Lets start off with how much you paid for it or how much it has been offered to you for.
In my limited experience with anything boating its pretty much a buyers market and somethings only really worth what someones prepared to pay for it as far as marine goods are concerned.

What’s it worth? Feckin’ simple really… assuming yer the seller...reverse if yer the buyer..less than you think and more than the potential buyer wants to pay. Why not advertise it for what you want for it…then when it doesn’t sell, drop the price till you get an offer…..it ain’t rocket science. Or you could hang around on here asking daft questions and getting aggravated because you get daft responses..your choice really.

2.5 worth ??

Ok I've read the replies from other members !!! Why anyone cannot simply answer your question I don't know. I guess there are folks on here who like to read their own name over and over again and have little else to do, and have no idea of what they are talking about.

It's not rocket science to answer a simple "feckin question" !!!!

The problem you have is that these engines are no longer really used for racing, and indeed have been replaced by environmentally friendly motors.
As such its worth is not what it once was.
I would say your looking in the region of £6,500 to £7,500 for engine as described.

There from someone who knows their stuff, it's not that hard is it ???

Hope this helps.

Well put. How many hours was it used in 2006?

I know of about 20....

I would like to pass on my respects to his family. Met the owner on Blade Run 2006. Nice Guy.

FWIW Black Jack is probably in the right ball park depending on whether it came with oil tank, loom, and gauges or not - is it a 15" racing leg or a 20"?

After looking at the motor myself on Computer after running in 19 hrs.. Sorry for the 6 hrs but just goes to show ( do the job yourself). Yes Cookie comes with everything but no oil tank . It's just like yours but not old and worn out. I will send my best to Luke's Family.
