After a seasons use it builds up a tacky deposit, whats is the norm, clean it off, and if so with what, or let it be and add another layer this season.

Use thousands of merc products daily just not that one, not a great lover of I’m afraid! Its great on electrical items but leaves hell of a mess on the block etc.Wot have you used it on the seagull??? Inboard or outboard? It’s a bitch to clean off, carb clean, petrol (explosive go careful!)and some degreasers work but it does sometimes leave a milky residue! If you don’t mind wot it looks like as is then stick another coat over the top or you can put another product over it we use a rock product called super marine inhibitor which might break it down a bit, but also leaves the motor looking good a leaves a fine film that protects it!
