Are you sure that the reason it's only running on 3 is due to no spark?
Otherwise the problem may well be fuel (or lack of!), see if it's sparking, if it is then i'd give the carbs a good thorough cleaning (fully dismantle, clean all components with a decent fuel system cleaner and blow through with compressed air), or use an ultrasonic cleaner. If you don't have access to one of these then leaving the seperate carbs to soak in methylated spirits for 24hrs works wondes at cleaning all the intricate passageways, just don't soak any plastic floats or rubber seals. Also would check float levels while they were apart.
If it's getting fuel to the cylinder then do a compression test.

yer ive had the carbs apart that and there all clean there is no spark on the 3rd spark plug. I have just tested the stator as the book says there are four wires red, redwhite, blue, bluewhite there is reistance between the two reds but not between the two blues the book says there is supposed to be between 90-140 ohms so does any one recon the stator is the problem aswell as the powerpack?
