Why have you changed loads of things at once????? change one thing at a time dude that way you would know why it was happening.
what has stopped the listing????
hmmmm was it because you changed the prop, lowered the motor, offset the motor (crazy!!!!!!!!!!) or repaired the steering........
you are no closer to sorting it out as now you need to put the motor back where it was and just try different props as the higher the motor the less bow lift you will get
don't run a cleaver as this will just make it steer from the back and will be uncontrollable but then you probably wont know that as when you try it as you'll have already raised the motor, moved the fuel tank and put some sand up the front!!

i understand where ur coming from burty but unfortunatly i have neither time or fuel money to try 1 thing at a time, im going by what people are advising me.

i agree, i dont think the cleaver will do any good but am gonna try it today anyway. its a 23p spinelli cleaver.

im gonna try moving the motor back up 1 bolt hole with same offset , i think the listing problem was cured by the offset and the yam drag seems to create far less bow lift than the chopper or the laser2

im a lot happier with how it runs now over what it was like, might actually be able to have a good solid race in a week

50g of sand right up front and its running flat,

little bit choppy out today compared with yesterday but found it much easier to keep pinned and held it at a better average speed than yesterday without the sand

dont really like the idea of adding extra weight but it seems to have cured the flightyness and will do till i get more set-up time

LOVING THE GREYTRONICS INTERCOMS!!! thanks justlikeluke

So have you changed the offset at all, or is it still where it's always been?

What have you actually changed which has solved the listing problem, or was it just the steering?

Are you still using my prop? If not can I grab it back on tuesday?

Cheers, Larbs

like i said, iv offset the motor 1 1/2 inches and dropped it inch below the V.

that seems to have cured the listing problem and its goin really well.

no not using ur yam drag 26p larby, the worked 23p is miles betta!

yeah you can come grab prop whenever an pick up that 2.5 paperweight u sold me and gimme 50quid back

But when we looked at it, you realised it already was offset... Hence my confusion. Have you moved it more, or has it not moved?

If you can bring the prop and my 'paperweight' along on tuesday, I'll gladly have the 50 quid for you, I'm planning to sort the wrecked bore and rebuild it for the back of the 18. Nice 'n simple.

bit trickey transporting stuff now i have no jeep, the little polo cant take the weight!! lol

ill brig ur prop tuesday but ull have to come pick up the powerhead, good luck sortin the bore 2, no1 can re line over here, was chattin to chris from tubbys an he says its a no go an not worthwhile doin. iv got a spare 2.5 liner if u recun u can do anythin with it u can have it.

and after contacting mike ring and looking at toms new boat the step has not been filled as you said larby, that is origional, they were a very subtle step but its more in the design of the shape of the underside, it kinda tapers off after the step and gets slightly narrower

Strange, you learn something new every day!!

Thats cool. If it turns out the powerhead is ruined at least I can use it for spares, I've never really looked inside it before!
