Foolish, my comment about the owner oweing the marina money was in reference to the Formula that Matt was on about. But i guess you know that now anyway.

What seems nice about the Abbate's is the style and the fact that they are not common like Rings and Phantoms etc

Keep us posted mate.

Sent the details to "Tai" boats ( Abbatte ) dealers and they said they would forward them to "Tullio"... apparently he has a big interest in their histories,

really difficult to trace as there is Abbatte, Abatte & Abbate, all looking similar and feckall about them.

Anyone know if i can trace it through "16GE073D" (6" port/starboard) , Obviously a registration number .. but who with ?

Under normal circumstances i wouldn't be so "wary" but why would you strip and sell parts from a perfectly good boat when it would be far more valuable complete .......The last thing i want is to get it "repossed" after i have restored it ...

Will let you know if "T A" replies

There is Bruno Abbate as well and he built the 'Primatist' range I believe.

I had the brochure and I seem to recall one very similar to the one Foolish has been talking about.

No longer have the brochure. It's been handed over to the next generation.
