oil problem 200 merc

when i first start my engine get a massive cloud of smoke i know this is normal for a 2 stroke but the cloud is massive it calms down after a minute or so seems to be using more oil than it should but not by much but if i go up river for a beer the next time i start it the cloud is massive smoked everyone out on the jetty at the jolly sailor the other night very embarrising i have had the oil check valve changed and another oil valve changed it is better but still not right the guy who fixed says thats all there is to the oil system

going to take the oil injection system off in the winter as it has caused me nothing but trouble but boat is in the water till end of sep so don`t really want to do it till then

any ideas

So it is! Have you tried disconnecting it and running some pre-mix at 30:1?

i don`t think you can just disconnect it i think you have to take the whole system out and blank some bits off
