Opti 225

Whilst having spent many happy hours arsing about with XR2 and 2.4 powerheads and learning their quirks and manerisms, I now find myself in an area I have little exparience of, and would like to tap the fountain of knowledge I hope is out there. Have just hoiked the powerhead off my Mariner 225 opti as the top mounts had adopted a position never considered by Merc's premiere designers, especially in the adapter plate, gear shift shaft and lower cowl department! Using an XS midsection I suppose is one option but what does that entail? I know I could apend a while on EPC and work it out for myself but heh, why not ask and cut out some leg work if you can? Is there something I can do to up performance? Something bolt on or whilst the powerhead is off a mod I can perform? Any kind of feedback would be much appreciated. Oh and Toby if you latch on to this don't worry the B28/Guernsey basic/donkey bashing is still my primary concern!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As always
