Optimax 225 Reliable?

I am thinking of buying a Optimax 225 (04 low hours)

I keep getting mixed messages on how reliable they are- we usually do about 200hrs per year running most of the time at 75%-90% throttle opening.

Most of our boats have Honda 150s which are totally reliable

Any thoughts

The only problem I had running a 225 Opti for a season in ski racing was the feckin' rev limiter at 5750. It hit it on pullout and dropped the skier back in the water - this was sorted by changing engine height. We did still hit it on the straights and that was propped up to a 27" pitch!
