Painting interior of P21

Can anyone tell me what is the best way and with what to paint the inside of my P21 i want to get rid of the floor carpets and replace with something wipe dryish .Also does the glass need sanding down first as to get a decent finish?. Thanks in advance Nick

flowcoat dude, yes you will have to sand down first even if just to get all the glue from the carpets off

Thanks chaps a couple more questions if you dont mind, is flowcoat non slip and how much of it would you think i need (i may not do the whole inside of the hull just the floor) dont know yet dont want too much of a job suggestions more than welcome.

flowcoat is gelcoat with wax added so it is slippery,about 4 kg to do the floor
this is what Burty had done to Apache see photo

That looks spot on , can you do anything about it being slippery like adding grit or would it not be advisable?.

It'll be the same (re. slipperyness) as the gelcoat on the outside of the boat when it's done, the wax is just there to seal it from air to make it set hard. A quick wipe over with acetone removes the wax once it's set.
International make a specific anti slip agent, or you could add pretty much anything else, but it'll make it a lot harder to clean! I just had flowcoat inside my cat and it wasn't too slippery.
