Perculiar electrics...

Can someone tell me what these are? They're in a waterproof box under the rear seat with big positive wires running to them ( i assume the others were removed previously), though nothing was attached.

Just wondering what they are before i rip them out!

Well whatever they are they're in big heatsinks so must create some heat! It seems to me that the bits that do something are the circular brass bits in the middle?
I could give Pete a ring to find out, but then i'd be pestering him daily about these kinda little things, and he can chat even more than me!!

Hmmm, that would make sense... It's only got one battery at the mo, but it looked like there was a place just by this for a small bike sized battery, possibly as a spare or something to do with all the LED's in the dash!
Maybe it ran seperate 12v and 6v systems for some reason?

I'm with Cyco on this one, I don't think they could be solenoids as there's no moving parts.

I'm prety sure it is a Battery isolator , as you can see in this : http://www.mastervolt.com/download.php?id=3422 document they come in all sorts and sises , hop it helps .
