Question Prop Phantom 21

Hi

I am a Spanish, excuse my English.
I have a Phantom 21 with Mercury 2.5 EFI 260 hp.
I need to know that propeller is better to remove the maximum performance to my boat.
Until today, the best than I have utilized is a chopper 22", with 6800 rpm.

Many thanks.

Welcome to BoatMad Oscar!!

i guess you mean "improve" not "remove"
i'm pretty sure your 2.5 should have a higher rpm
a lot can change by the height your engine is mounted at, mid-section used (20"/15"), how far it's usually tilted,
changing some of these could gain much more revs with the same prop,
also depends on what kind of water you run in,
put some more spec of the boat and the way it's set up on here and i'm sure many members will be able to help as it's a very popular boat and engine.
Hope BoatMad can help,
Max

Guy I know with phantom 21 and 2.5 efi uses 25 yam drag prop and spins it to 7500 rpm when racing, which chip have you got in your ecu box ?

Thumbs up

Thanks to all.

The ecu box is improved by bernico, the engine according to bernico generates 300 hp, mid-sections 20".

You need a 23 trophy and should spin to 8200, gearbox 1" below should do if with no setback, you're revs are to low for that mota
