rex marine perma coated or anodized

Just ordering some blue bezzels but can someone tell me what perma coated is. Is perma coating like a power coating?

yes, it's a laquer type finish. pickles pretty quickly around salt water. the slightwest scratch, or any breach of the coating, and it's all picked up & forlin orf in no time.

think cyco had some crappy coated ones on his, he soon changed them as they lasted about a month
