any advice on who to insure ring ranger 21 with would be greatly appreciated!

I always used GJW for about the last 20 years. I never even compare them with anyone else.

It is often said that making a claim is proof of how good the company is... I have made two in that time - both for thefts of complete outfit.

I used to use euro marine. My boat was at a biat yard when council workers showered it with metal grindings. The boat yard washed it to see how bad it was and I contacted euro marine. They put the boss on the phone and he told me I was welcome to submit a claim but he doubted it would be approved as the boat yard had intervened. They never got a renewal and I ended up paying for new tubes

I agree with DoubleSix, I have been using GJW for around 18years and never had an issue with them.
Insured my second boat through them in the summer, was a matter of a 10min phone call and the transaction was completed. No survey needed, just the usual question of whether it was used for racing or personal use. Obviously they already had my details on file but the girl on the other end of the phone knew what she was talking about.
