shakespere cat..wot prop??

hi all,was wondering if any one has any advice on whot prop 2 use on my shakespere cat running a 2liter xr2,am going 2 try a 28p cleaver,any advice and help will b much apreachated.

Thats exactly what i used on her with the XR2, moved up to a 30p spinelli cleaver after that which ran beautifully. Both had a fair amount of slip at first, but fine once up and going.
Choppers were hopeless, I'd imagine a bravo would be well worth a shot too?

What rpm did you reach with a 30" and an XR2?

Sorry, didn't explain myself there, I'd changed to a 2.5 powerhead by that point, could just touch the limiter on a really flat day with the spinelli. Awesome prop!

Not bad! So you ran the 28 cleaver, what rpm did that reach? How heavy is the cat?

Can't really remember with the xr2, it lasted for so little time! It revved quite well but not as well as it should, turned out this was because the powerhead was nackered.
Not a clue how heavy she is tbh, blackbeard weighed her i think?
