Pretty much any marine based GPS would do it - is the Evermore unit a marine one?

I have just spoken to Barrus who have told me that I need to run the gps antenna through a fish finder etc to get gps speed reading, what do other people do as I don't really need a fish finder in a ski race boat!

Why?

I've got all the bits I'd need in the boat to rig one up but haven't bothered, what's the point. All you need to know is your going faster than me or Scott... An so far you've not struggled! Plus, unless your going to carry some binoculars with you your never going to see it from where you are

Send a message via AIM to Burty
good for indication purposes chris. empty the tank, trim out or put tabs down etc and it feels like you are going faster but are you really??? a speedo is a very good tool to see what is actually happening.
Also if you hadn't missed your pull again you might have overtaken Dan, you could of had a look at his speedo on the way by lol.

An i can assure you when we did unlap ourselves, four of us were going into the bottom turn, the last thing i was thinking was to have a sneaky look at his dash!!
