Can anybody recommend a decent 'flush' mounted 2 gang switch to fit in my dashboard?

Yeh, Carling are pretty much used by everyone. For ease of fitment, you'll need the surrounds as well, then you only have to cut one hole.

I've to fit these in a P xl dashboard, from memory it's about an 1" thick.
How are the switches fix in place?

if you cut a hole just for a switch, you'll have a real problem fixing it in a way that you'd be able to remove it at a later date. Using the surrounds, it'll be much easier. They're normally used in switch panels etc that are only a few mm thick, but I've not had a problem sticking em in with silicon or similar.

I think so, but the cheapest place to buy either switches or surrounds is probably EC Smith, which is where I buy mine from.

Bloody 'ell' chaps.
I require 2No: Switches (preferably with integral indication when on).
These are;
1No: On-Off.
1No: On-Off-Momentary.
1No: 2-gang switch surround.

Then we'll go for the free installation, on site, plus a tank full of fuel.
Who's first?

I'll need to know what your offer is, and if he's accepted it before I undercut it!

The retail price, according to EC smith, is £5.70 per switch, and £1.45 per suround, although I've just had to pay £16.00 for a (on)-off-(on) dpdt from Merlin!!!!!!

So I can do both switches and surrounds for £7.50 incl postage.
