hi can i fit to v6 yam when it is for 2/4 cycle engs part number is 170102 model is mf12b thanks joh n

Yes you can,
Merc ones don't filter to such a fine rating, can't remember what they are off-hand, 30 micron springs to mind?
Yamaha ones I'm pretty sure are 10 micron same as Tempo ones you're looking at.
