Glad to see the figures on the dyno match a calculator, but I can not see on there anywhere it states hp at different rev ranges, thus peak torque is still just a guess !!! one of the many USA engine builders must have had one on a dyno and checked figures throught the rev range, its just finding one ?

One intresting fact on that 200efi that sterling quoted, if it's producing over 80% of it's hp at 3800rpm, if it had a gearbox and you could put it in a higher gear think how much quicker it would go plus the fuel saving at 3800 rpm as it would be produing the power to do it !

Wacky do you have any idea what torque they make?
What about the one you built with the sliders on?

Sorry Dude, not sure what torque they make, never really thought about it, my slider motor was put on a dyno, but I only got the HP figure for it.

Wakey Racer, your Merc was it a 260 hp 2.5ltre efi, if so and you have the hp for the various revs from say 4k and above, thats great, if it's simular to Burty's engine it will be the same within a few %
