Trim Pumps

Somehow I've managed to lose the plastic cap on the oil reservoir of my trim pump. It's a recent Merc Oildyne pump with the large plastic reservoir. My top tip for today is that a screw top from a plastic milk container fits it perfectly! It will at least stop anything getting in until a replacement arrives.

Strange thing is, I've searched inside the boat and even taken the fuel tank out today and I don't think it's in there.

Sounds like Scotts glasses that I borrowed at Allhallows, there in that hull somewhere but I'm stuffed if I can find em!!

Or perhaps someone in Weston, who had lost the top off their milk, thought one of those nice yellow caps would do nicely!
