fix a couple of eyes in the wall & block & tackle, once your at the balance point put in some stays and block it down from the other side.

If you know a good operator driver just rent a 2-3 ton digger and have him flip it over

Theres only 1 MrRob

take it outside and flip it over and back on to its trolly. Your farmer there has a meaty handler that will lift it.
But as Gav once said to me, its not flipping it over thats the worry, its flipping it back without damaging the fresh paint.

A very handy gadget for this sort of thing is a Tirfor - they are a wire rope hoist NOT to be confused with the cheap Yank style cable pullers.

Firebrigade use them to lift lorries off cars etc. Also great for a 4x4 if you get stuck in the mud.

Beauty of them is they are so precise and you can raise or lower a fraction at a time.

They come in 3 sizes - 800 - 1600 and 3200kgs - this is safe lifting load - they will pull a hell of a lot more - seriously powerfull and so many uses.

Look on Ebay or free ads or similar.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/800kg-Wire-Rop...QQcmdZViewItem

I bought one off this bloke before on Ebay - 3200kgs model - a real beast. They are chinese copies but still tough as old boots - got a few genuine ones as well - even tougher but very expensive.

Stop talking out yer arse... you need to lift a lorry upright of a car you call for a feckin' crane.... or you use air bags... in the years I manned the ET.. the only thing we ever..and I mean ever ....used the Tirfor for was pulling a feckin' cow out of a slurry tank...and stretching the odd car apart to get a stiff out when we couldn't be arsed to wait for the local wrecker..... still I suppose in "sheepsville" or wherever it is you reside... they might not have cottoned on to hydraulics'n pneumatics....

Just cos YOU didn't use them doesn't mean NOBODY uses them!!!

Obviously a crane is a better bet but they aren't always around when you need em....

You really do talk some bollix, don't you...?…. try sticking "air bags" into google and see what that throws up... and whilst you're at it... figure out where you're going to attach your handy "Tirfor" above the crash scene to “lift a lorry”….. you can use two Tirfors to right a small vehicle… by PULLING.... but if you're dealing with a lorry that you need to lift… you use bags, jacks or heavy lift equipment.. not a pissing Tirfor... stop giving your advice on what you know feck’ all about…. Other than Google information…go back to giving voice to your huge range of experience on RIBnet where, for some strange reason, they seem to tolerate it…..or you could try “Ribsters…...The friendly site”..

Perhaps they tolerate it because they aren't all as obnoxious as you???

Are you seriously telling me that nobody - EVER - has lifted/moved a lorry with a Tirfor? Have you been present at EVERY recue around the world? Who are you - Thermoman or something?

I actually SAW an artic lorry cab moved/lifted off a car crushed under it with a Tirfor - it was only moved about 2 feet but it was just enough to get the girl out.

Whilst you are Googling for airbags why not type in tirfor and Rescue? I have used Tirfors hundreds of times and I am well aware of what they are capable of.

I made a simple statement that I really don't think justified this childish personal attack - so bogg off back to your cave......

They ARE very slow to use - and bloody hard work but they DO have they uses.

I will also admit that they aren't used very often for lifting/moving lorries but to launch such a scathing attack is a little extreme.
