U.S. Trailer
Can anyone advise on the modificatiions req'd to convert a 2 axle U.S. spec trailer to be legal for road use in the U.K.

Fraid not. However me & Adam found a fantastic looking aluminium tullio abbate in a field in jesolo - could be right up your street.

Been there and bought uk instead, need new coupling, hubs and brakes, hubs wont fit axles so add them as well so unless your good with bodging/modifying then its expensive

I have a yank trailer its way to wide for the roads over here but i dont care its well strong and looks the nuts. I also havent bothered to change the coupling it just rattles a little!!

50mm = UK with a 2 inch hitch U.S.
1 inch = 25.4mm 2 = 50.8+ which equals a lot of "play" on the hitch,
Hope you use a lot of very thick grease

Actually i do give her a good greasing!! Honeslty i have loads of miles ive got the safety chains as well but ive never had a prob!!
The trailer also fitted with a hose attachment that washes the wheel bearings out for ya!!
