V6 power trim

can anyone tell me if the power trim units are the same on 115 v6 mercs as 150 v6 mercs? ta

somw were. The square type motors that sat in the centre of the saddle and had 3-wire electronics.

BTW these are well shit and not up to much hence why merc changed them to the better 2 wire type.

guess which one i've got?

just found out that the 115 is a straight six not a v , but are the trim units and sadles the same?

115's are straight 6's till about '89.......from about '87 they started making the 2+2 straight 4's. Not sure if saddle is the same, buy i know some of the 4's trim pumps where.

straight 6's had an internal pump didnt they?

yeah i used to have straight 6 140 merc and that internal trim pump!!
