you took it home remember! lol On that note Burty, I am having Gav fix the hole in my boat which means leaving it with him but I am now a bit worried about him using it as a paper weight! lol.

OH! Gav I test a couple of patches of my gelcoat with some 1500 grit wet and dry. Turns out its not completely had it! I did 3 patches with the wet and dry then polished them up and they came up like new. So I might at the end of the month (pay day) have you do me one of your £oner polishes! I have the battery in jeep at the moment. Was getting a bit tired so I swapped it over to give it a good charge. cranks a 4ltr straight 6 so shouldnt have any trouble with your v6.

http://www.optimabatteries.com
or, this site (better & UK)
http://www.optimabattery.co.uk/

I 'think' Adam is a dealer, so should be able to do a good price on them - might be wrong though.

Another option is DMS Technologies red flash batteries - http://www.dmstech.co.uk/redflash.htm - Both the RNLI & Ultima use them - for Ultima they're the smallest battery capable of cranking a high compression small block chevy, and capable of taking severe abuse.

DMS batteries in particular, Adam may have a line on an unbeatable deal on these - might be worth giving him a call.

But, FWIW, I can happily start and run both motors on my boat off a single 80ah normal wet cell battery.
