That'll be the control for your hypercyloid unidirectional intergalactic foo foo valve.

(or f@ck knows. Hope that helps)

I think the Scarab had the optional upgrade from the unidirectional intergalactic foo foo valve to un-directional Hypergalatic non-return foo foo valve but thanks for your indepth knowledge of Foo Foo Valves Simon

On their way to the un-directional Hypergalatic non-return foo foo valve Controler in the front of the boat they go via this....... which is in the side of the engine bay....

It's the shift bracket for the Bravo drive. Usually mounted on the exhaust manifold.

The short gear cable from the drive, intersects with the long one up to the control levers on that bracket and lever arm.

The lever has adjustment for the throw of the short cable, so you can set the correct travel tween F-N-R

It is sooo obvious, its not a foo valve it is the pooh pooh balance on the twin engine idle at plus or minus 100rpms.
Failing that have another Miller and disconnect it tomorrow and forget it.

Was this not all connected up when it arrived?

If not sounds like someone may have started the strip down of the Scarab before you Martin, across the pond!
