xr2 head bolts

After the great input I got back for my question on con rod bolts(renewing), just wanted to ask if the same applies to renewing the cylinder head bolts? They seemed to be a pretty low torque when i was stripping the engine down so I wondered if they're actually stretch bolts? plus they only seem to sell them in pairs.

Ditto to Burty's comment. Only ever replaced them when they look scabby. You'll strip the threads from the block before the head bolts give out.
