Hi, only running 23s at the moment to see how it goes and they both go up to 4500 very quick and stay there so thought that might be the limit as they are small props but seems low

The 23s are normal yamaha props so i was worried about over revving, next time out i will make sure my gps is charged and get a speed as well, will also check my linkage again but both revving at 4500 is strange

hi again, just pulled the spec sheet out on your 250,s. r.p.m. range is 5000 to 6000 and gives 250h.p. at the prop at 5500.4500 is way too low.hs4 props or cleavers should get you up quicker than your 3 bladed23,s.

Hi
I have a vmax 250 and it revs almost 6000 with 25 lab finished pro, that was on a racing rib 8.10 ocke.
I am using it now on a 7 meter rib (not racing) with a four blade revolution 19 and it revs 5400 to 5700 depends on the load.
I think 4500 is to low.
