Yamaha 150 VMAX TRP, Any good?

Well I bought the Phantom and now some inconsiderate git bought my rib with both of my DF140 suzys . So now I am on the hunt for a motor for my P21.

I have found a tidy, low hours Yam 150 VMAX TRP. I love Yam motors and have had several.

Anybody had anything to do with TRP twin prop system on them? are they good/bad news?

Hi, Motors are good although props are expensive and as said I think you will need some more HP to have fun.

I agree you need more power

I had a the same motor, the engine is fantastic, the contra gearbox does go bang, I ended up putting a standard gearbox on which fits fine and doesnt fail
