First Phantom - P16

Hi all,

Been on this fourm for a few years now - pleased to say I picked up my first phantom a few weeks back - drove for pretty much 11 hours to get it home from Norfolk Coast before all the UK tier madness,

Needs some love but enjoying the restoration process and a nice way in to the proper powerboat world - its clearly got some some waterski heritage judging by transom stickers - Anyone on here know it?

Has any got a link to a higher resolution phantom sales advert please?

Olly

Hello, I´m a new member here with Phantom P16

Hello everybody,
I´m from Germany (you will notice that surely after reading my first few words) and I´m new at this forum.
I´ve owned a few boats during the last 30 years, but always with some interrupts between. My last boats I´ve bought all from England (and then towed to Germany), because I like the British Boating scene and especially the people in this scene. In 2010 I´ve bought a Ring 21 with an Evinrude 225 (with bracket for the outboard and therefore small sundeck). This boat I´ve owned for about 6 years, but had always a lot of trouble with the engine (build in 1988).
Therefore I´ve bought last week a Phantom P16 in Torquay and just came back from this trip (for me quite horrible with right handdrive traffic and nearly 1500 km to go).
This boat is of course not as stable at high velocities as my old Ring21, but it fits perfect in my garage (saving a lot of trouble with my wife)

Now I´ve seen some recent posts concerning the P16 from ollyit and nick1 and I do not know how to contact them. I hope it´s not fully wrong to post it this way.
I would like to know, where I can get some informations (documents, old brochures,...) about this boat.
My recent P16 has an Evinrude 115 E-Tec from 2017 (!) , so I hope that I can get in the next summer more hours for riding than always only for repairing.

In another post I´ve asked about the serial decals of the P16, perhaps somebody can tell me where to get these.

If I use your Forum in a wrong way, so please let me know - I´m absolutely adaptive.

Looking forward very much to any communication with you concerning the P16 (and apologizes silly questions and German English )

Regards!
