Hi Arthur
After many, many years of ski racing I have now retired from competition and I have a Monterey cruiser that my wife and I enjoy. I towed my daughter in the Ladies Open class in the World Championships in Vichy in 2019 and decided that was enough. The Bernico is to be re-rigged with a single 300XS, repainted and re-upholstered as a play / training boat.
For props, I ran fat shaft Sportsmaster gearboxes with 1.62 gear ratios and 26” or 28” props. My favourite props were labbed Chopper II’s, they gave good pull out with a skier and acceleration out of turns.
