Small boat

Hi i just bought a small boat CJR14 cathedral hull and i want to tow this boat to spain . What i need to travel with this little boat … the seller didn’t have any documents for the bost as many sellers of the boats they don’t have paperwork or any documents… the seller said i will not have any problem to the border but i just want to know for sure if i need to make insurance or any registration…
Please i need an advice befor i travel thanks 🙏

Hi not sure but I think you're going to have problems. From what I know about getting a jetski to Spain they ask for a certificate of conformity and be reg on the small ships. Unless the manufacturer can supply you, you see while you need this to import boats it is not required in the UK, hence not provided even new Sea-Doo ( Jetski ) they want £150 to supply the letter. I think it might be a problem but would check with Spanish customs maybe
