Unfortunately then you need to do the days race training before you can race but that will be available at the first event next year Il keep you posted on when this is being run if your up for a bit of racing next year
Why not safety boat? Get a better view on the water and help us out ?

Offshore World 3B Championships 2011
Just a quick update to say the three Norwegian Teams have arrived safe and sound in Torquay and are looking forward to a sleep at The Imperial Hotel after a long journey across land and sea!. On behalf of the event organising committee we wish them a safe and successful World Championship Event although we hope our British Teams are successful too!
We will try to keep everyone posted with up to date news and results here on this website.

Updates!
I will be keeping the facebook event page updated and boatmad throughout the event.
All 3B boats have arrived safely. Some teams have been out testing today conditions are lumpy at the moment but set to be worse tomorow....Just in time for Heat 1. Some last minute preparations and alot of relaxing being done at the moment. Photos by Tim Tapping from today uploaded on facebook earlier today.
Will post results as soon as they are available tomorow!
Good luck everyone!

Rob Mcarthy in his OCR Bernico lead from the first turn buoy only to be defeated half way round the last lap by the oil tank coming loose and kinking the pipe. We were out on the far side of the course and the tall short swells were quite large and must have seemed huge for the smaller boats, some resorted to "tacking" to get upwind.
It was nearly a clean sweep of the podium by the Brits but quite a bit of damage was evident on many of the boats. Well done to the Norwegian? Cat to come third!
Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be a bit more of the same so go get the sandbags!
