3C Worlds will be in Oskarshamn, Sweden in beginning of july.
Europeans were supposed to be in Italy but I believe UIM GA changed that due to Italien national cockpit rules.

There are two obvious UK opportunities: -
Combine with the 3B Worlds in Torquay - the French all classes teams have already been invited and we are negotiating discounts with the Nordic sea carriers.
Include in Guernsey in September - the French all classes teams have already been invited.
Weymouth would have been a good, but conflicts with Corsica.
Nowadays, the main influences are funding, the availability of competent officials and the support of the volunteers.
I'm sure both ORDA and GPA could provide the latter.

Jeez, I've just spent the last month or so ploughing through all that went into the '08 3C worlds over here, it'd be a pretty mammoth event combining the europeans with the powerboat week I already have planned! That said, I guess most of it would already be in place... would be pretty awesome... Hmmm.

Hmmm did you know the 'French all classes' were invited to the GPA event, as the above looks like the first you knew??

Yeah I did know about that, wouldn't be an issue as we already have 2 club races planned that thy would join in with. Having the Europeans would mean a load more paperwork etc. It's far from just my decision but it'd be worth looking into, I don't want to overload us at the expense of the season though...
