3C Worlds

Well the day we all depart for Italy is drawing very close, and I'm looking forward to some excellent racing!
So I'd like to wish all the teams (especially K4+ ) the very best of luck.

Off the top of my head, from the forum we have going:
CB1
DAVE
Adam
Night Nurse
Old Beardy

Cool

World Champions Thomas & Annika Wrenkler 2004, confirmed that they will be attending the Worlds along with European Champion Marcus Johnson (Finland)plus 1 other team from Sweden and 4 teams from Norway and there will be 12 teams from Italy and 11 from the UK. That's enough boats for a good race! Can't wait. Richard & Paula White C2

Yes it has to be said that a bit of good old rough water would suit us nicely!! Realistically though we are using the opportunity of 3 races in flat water to try and extract a bit more speed out of the old girl. There are lots of things we have not tried yet and we have some more props to chuck on. We are effectively using the worlds as a big testing session in the sunshine rather than freezing our nuts off in the winter over here!
Ian.

So long as the weather is nice, food good and the wine tasty, the racing will be a bonus! We are going for a holiday cos we are under no illusions of victory, but if we gain a little speed as well then it will have been worthwhile.

It is but the chances of it being rough enough out there for us are slim to feck all .......... we'll be taking the great british public out in the race boat on the try a boat stand at the boat show for 10 days instead, as well as having the leisure boat there as well - courtesy of EP Barrus!
